Consider R4E for #GivingTuesday 2024

R4E Taught Me! R4E’s December Campaign to Support Reproducibility Education #R4EtaughtMe

“R4E taught me about the open protocol repository, protocols.io, and I was able to upload protocols my lab developed there and have them cited with a DOI in a recent paper!.” - Victoria Farrar.

Reproducibility for Everyone (R4E) is a community-led education initiative to increase adoption of open research practices at scale. R4E volunteer co-instructors run over 20 workshops per year at premier scientific conferences and institutions. R4E workshops fill a gap in core researcher training by introducing practical reproducibility content to a broad audience. Since 2018, R4E volunteers have run workshops on 6 continents for thousands of researchers!

R4E volunteer co-instructors are supported by sponsors and donors like you who care about reproducibility and rigor in research!

This December, the R4E community wants to highlight the impact of R4E’s work so far with the #R4EtaughtMe campaign. Please help amplify the lessons learned by researchers all over the world by sharing our #R4EtaughtMe (X/Twitter) and BlueSky posts!

Why support R4E?

One of our core values is to support a diverse network of researchers. We lower barriers to participation in scientific conferences by underrepresented scientists by providing financial stipends, registration fees, and society memberships for BIPOC, women, LGBTQ2S+, and scientists with a disability. By volunteering to lead an R4E workshop, these researchers gain invaluable skills and access to new opportunities, including leadership skills, teaching experience, networking, and mentorship opportunities.
