Help R4E get 1 donation per day this November with #R4EtaughtMe
This November marks the celebration of all the amazing things the R4E community achieved with our 2-year grant from CZI.
This generous grant has allowed R4E to grow exponentially in global outreach, reaching new conferences, disciplines, and under-represented communities, surpassing all our grant milestones in engagement, outreach, governance, and diversity.
Continuing the work of our R4E volunteer instructors beyond this grant requires donations and sponsorships from organizations and people like you!
This November, the R4E community is re-launching our campaign to spread the word about the impact of community-led reproducibility education. Using the hashtag #R4EtaughtMe, R4E workshop participants and volunteers will write and share the favorite thing they learned through R4E. Check our our video starring R4E volunteers Dr. Nafisa Jadavji and Dr. Nele Haelterman:
“#R4EtaughtMe about electronic lab notebooks. I implemented using one when I started my own research group a few years ago.” - Nafisa Jadavji
“#R4EtaughtMe the importance of depositing my reagents in repositories which really would have saved me a lot of heartache before losing my precious plasmids.” - Nele Haelterman
R4E volunteer co-instructors run over 20 workshops per year at scientific conferences around the world. R4E is a non-profit, volunteer-run project and our expenses such as conference registrations, society memberships, and childcare are supported by sponsors and donors.
The #R4EtaughtMe campaign aims to bring in 30 donations over the 30 days of November to support R4E volunteer stipends to cover expenses and support a diverse community.
We created a crowdfunding page with perks for every donor level! We have individual donation levels and organizational donation levels.
If your institution or organization includes researchers, why not become an R4E Workshop Partner level sponsor and receive a free 90-minute R4E workshop as part of your thank you?

🪄Magic🪄 happens when #researchers share their knowledge! Today's #R4EtaughtMe is from @erodriguezroman. Tackling barriers to #reproducibility is best done by learning from practices in other disciplines!
